Zippl keeps a local database on your device. Every invoice, item addition, or ledger entry is written locally instantly. The app runs a background sync queue. Once you connect to the internet, all operations are uploaded securely to the cloud using your credentials. If you lose connection mid-upload, the app retries automatically without losing any data.
Yes! Zippl supports multi-device synchronization. When multiple devices sign in with credentials belonging to the same shop, they share the same cloud data. Any sales invoices generated by Cashier A on an Android phone will sync to the cloud and download onto Manager B's Windows desktop in real-time.
To preserve data privacy, the local database is cleared of sensitive information upon user sign-out. However, since all of your transactions are synced to the secure cloud backend, logging back in on any device will instantly pull down all items, categories, parties, and invoices.
Zippl supports standard ESC/POS layout formatting. On Android, it connects to Bluetooth thermal printers (58mm/80mm presets). On Windows, it prints via Raw TCP Network Sockets (port 9100) or virtual COM serial ports. Popular models like Epson TM-T82, Citizen, and generic 58mm/80mm printers are supported out of the box.
